Additional Notes
Serial Numbers
Products must have matching serial numbers between the unit and the proof of purchase. Serial numbers are typically found:
- On the unit near the model label
- On a separate sticker on the box (often beginning with year digits)
Units missing serials or with unmatched data will be treated as non-warranty.
* Carry Cases & Bags Warranty
All PiXAPRO bags and cases are covered by a 3-month warranty, designed to ensure reliability for our partners. This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
Coverage includes:
- Faults in stitching or construction
- Manufacturing defects in the bag/case fabric
This warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear (e.g. scuffs, abrasions, or fading)
- Damage from overloading, improper care, or misuse
- Consumable components such as zippers, buckles, or clips – these are expected to deteriorate with regular use
"Materials" refers to the structural fabric of the product, while "workmanship" pertains to how the item has been sewn or assembled. Damage resulting from UV exposure, accidents, or general ageing of the materials falls outside of warranty coverage.
We strongly recommend handling and storing transport gear with care to maximise its service life.
** Hotshoe Warranty
The hotshoe is a high-contact component and is therefore only covered under warranty for faults relating to the electrical connection point – where the hotshoe connects the unit to the camera.
The warranty does not cover:
- Snapping or breakage of the hotshoe
- Wear, loosening, or physical damage caused by force, misuse, or long-term handling
These issues are considered general wear and tear or damage due to incorrect usage, and fall outside of warranty coverage.
*** Repaired Products
Products repaired by PiXAPRO outside of standard warranty terms will be covered by a 1-month warranty from the date the repair is completed.
This limited warranty applies only to the components and repairs carried out. It does not extend the original product warranty or apply to unrelated faults or new issues that occur after the repair.
Serial Numbers and Warranty Validation
All electronic products supplied by PiXAPRO include a unique serial number on the unit, which links the product to its purchase record and warranty status.
To validate a warranty claim:
- The serial number on the unit must match the purchase record held in our system.
- Purchasers must provide the serial number upon request.
- It is the purchaser’s responsibility to accurately record and retain the correct serial number at the time of purchase.
If you are unsure where to locate the serial number on a product, please contact the PiXAPRO team for guidance before installation or listing.
Products with missing, illegible, or mismatched serial numbers will be treated as non-warranty and processed under our standard repair or return policies.

• Consumables or accessories
Batteries, bulbs, filters, fuses, zippers, cables, clips, and similar items that are expected to wear over time are excluded unless a manufacturing fault is clearly evident.
• Liquid crystal damage
Leakage or internal damage to LCD displays caused by drops, spills, or impact.
• Serial number or seal tampering
If the product’s serial number, quality control sticker, or warranty seal is removed, defaced, or does not match our records, the warranty is void.
• Products not purchased from an authorised reseller
Warranty is only valid for items purchased through PiXAPRO.
• Custom-made or made-to-order items

What PiXAPRO Will Do Under This Warranty
At its sole discretion, PiXAPRO will either:
- Facilitate the repair of faulty components within a commercially reasonable timeframe, free of charge for parts and labour (excluding return shipping), or
- Replace the product with the same or a comparable model that performs substantially the same function.
What PiXAPRO Will Not Do
• PiXAPRO will not cover or reimburse the cost of shipping products to or from our facility or authorised repair agents.
• PiXAPRO accepts no responsibility for lost or uninsured return shipments. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance and packaging.
Missing, Incomplete, or Dead on Arrival (D.O.A.) Deliveries
All deliveries must be inspected immediately upon receipt. The contents should be verified against the enclosed packing list.
If any item is missing, arrives damaged (Dead on Arrival), or if the order is incomplete, the purchaser must notify PiXAPRO within seven (7) calendar days of the recorded delivery date.
Failure to notify within this period may limit PiXAPRO’s ability to investigate and may render the claim invalid.
How to Claim Under This Warranty
To initiate a warranty claim:
- Contact PiXAPRO directly.
- Provide a dated proof of purchase showing the product was bought from PiXAPRO.
- Obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RMA) before sending the item. This number must be clearly marked on the outer packaging to ensure proper handling.
- The product must be securely packaged in protective materials. Original packaging Is preferred.
PiXAPRO reserves the right to designate an authorised repair centre for product returns. Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage. PiXAPRO reserves the right to decline warranty claims for items received damaged due to insufficient packaging
Warranty Exclusions - Neglect or Improper Maintenance
Certain failures are not covered under warranty if they result from lack of proper care. Common examples include:
• Fan Strain
Dust build-up in fans or air filters can restrict airflow, forcing them to work harder. This may lead to excessive noise, reduced cooling efficiency, or premature fan failure.
• Overheating
Insufficient cleaning or blocked ventilation can cause components to run at unsafe temperatures. Overheating may trigger performance throttling, freezing, or unexpected system shutdowns.
• Insulation Effect
Dust and debris can settle on sensitive components, acting as an insulating layer. This prevents effective heat dissipation and can shorten component lifespan.
Additional Warranty Purchases
Some eligible new products offer the option to purchase extended warranty coverage at the time of sale.
Important Notes:
• Additional Warranty is only valid when purchased together with the qualifying product.
• It is not available for Pre-Loved, Clearance, or Sample items.
• Extended warranty purchases made separately or retrospectively will be cancelled and refunded without notice.
Limitation of Liability
PiXAPRO's total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product. No refunds or compensation will be issued for damages beyond the value of the product itself.
We are not liable for:
• Loss of use or productivity
• Business interruption
• Financial losses, including profit or revenue
• Indirect or consequential damages
Other Terms and Conditions
This warranty is void if:
• The product’s serial number label is removed or defaced.
• The box bearing the serial number has been discarded (applicable to lighting units).
• The item was not purchased from PiXAPRO.
• The item was modified without prior written approval.
Return shipping costs for all warranty cases must be paid by the purchaser. Purchasers are responsible for both inbound and outbound shipping costs associated with warranty claims.
Acceptance of Terms
