The PixaPro 70cm Easy-Open Slim Profiled Speedlight Octagon FlatPak Softbox is the first of a new generation in easy-open softbox design. No longer do you need to wrestle with rods, backing fabric and a speedring, nor do you need to reach into your softbox to push the opening mechanism down top to open it. The PixaPro slim-profiled speedlight octagon softbox features a new Patented hinged opening mechanism, that can be accessed from the back of the softbox. This means you no longer have to partially remove the diffuser to access the locking mechanism, making it ultra-fast and efficient. With portability, weight and speed in mind, it is perfect for the run-and-gun photographer who needs to set up and pack away as quickly as possible. The perfect tool for photographers that work on location such as Wedding, and Portrait photographers. It is also great for Videographers who shoot either in the studio or on location.

Built for Fastest and Easiest Setup

The PixaPro FlatPak Octagonal Softbox has been built with speed and efficiency in mind. It features a revolutionary patented hinged opening mechanism, where the softbox can be unfolded, and the locking mechanism simply clicks into place. Once you have finished using your softbox, the locking mechanism is released with a simple flick of a switch. Since the opening mechanism is located on the outside of the softbox, there is no need to remove the inner and outer diffuser to reach inside the softbox to release it saving you precious time.

Highly-Efficient and Slim-Profiled 

The Speedlight Octabox Softbox features a highly reflective Profi-line, designed to maximise light output from your light source. It also produces a softer, more homogenous light. Since the opening mechanism is located on the outside, there is nothing inside obstructing the light, giving back that extra bit of light. Especially useful for more unidirectional light sources such as COB LED lights, and Speedlite.

Space-Saving Octagon Softbox 

Since the opening mechanism is on the outside of the Slim-Profiled FlatPak Softbox, there is nothing on the inside of the softbox obstructing the light from your LED light or Strobe. It allows you to save the total weight, especially when travelling. This makes it especially good for lights that are quite directional by nature, such as Speedlites, or COB LED Studio lights. Even more, due to the speedring mount's ability to be folded in half, it can pack even more compactly than traditional softboxes.

The PixaPro Speedlight Octagon Softbox is made from high-quality heard-wearing fabric. It also features eight durable rods that have been stitched into the lining, so you dont have to worry about the rounds coming out during use.

Double Diffusion Layer & Honeycomb Grid

Included two layers of diffusion to help soften the light, giving you more control over your light and helping to further reduce harsh shadows, providing a more even, soft light. However, you can remove the inner diffuser to squeeze out an extra stop. And a honeycomb grid, that attaches effortlessly to the front of the softbox, giving a narrower spread of light by restricting the beam without spilling onto the background.
