How it works
Godox AD100ProII Pocket Flash
The AD100ProII provides the light source, delivering up to 100Ws from a body measuring approximately 10.6 x 7.6 x 7.6cm with the battery fitted. Its rechargeable battery provides approximately 490 full-power flashes per charge and incorporates a USB-C charging port, making the system practical for location work where access to mains power may be limited.
Godox S3 S-Type SMART Speedlite Adapter Bracket
With the AD100ProII secured inside the adjustable bracket, Bowens S-Type modifiers can be attached to the front. This opens up options including compatible softboxes for broader, softer light, beauty dishes, reflectors and snoots for more controlled lighting. The bracket can tilt approximately ±90°, helping position the light and modifier as required. It also mounts onto standard light stands with a 5/8-inch stud/spigot and incorporates an umbrella slot.
Why choose this kit?
The main advantage of this combination is flexibility without unnecessarily increasing the size of the flash itself. Used alone, the AD100ProII provides a very compact battery-powered lighting solution and supports Godox round-head magnetic modifiers. Adding the S3 bracket gives you another option when a shoot calls for a Bowens S-Type modifier.
