The Godox AR400 is a 400Ws Portable Studio LED Macro Ring Flash that enables you to mount your camera directly onto it, providing your subjects with soft, diffused, near-shadowless illumination. Self-Contained Ring Flash

Unlike other ring flashes on the market, the Godox AR400 is a self-contained, battery-powered LED macro ring flash that doesn't need to be connected to a separate pack. This makes it a lot more portable and gives you the ability to move around freely without being restricted by the length of the cable connected to your pack.

400Ws Of Raw Power

The AR400 Bowens ring flash can deliver 400Ws of raw output, with an 8-stop power range (1/1 - 1/128) that can be controlled in 1/3-stop increments. Whether you need to compete with the sun or add a subtle kiss of light, the Godox AR400 ring flash will be up to the job. 

Rechargeable Lithium Battery 

Unlike most other ring flashes on the market, where you must plug the ring flash into an external pack, the AR400 portable ring flash uses a replaceable 11.1V/4500mAh rechargeable lithium battery pack, which will give you approximately 450 full-power flashes per charge. This makes it perfect for use on location. 

Adjustable LED Modelling Lights 

The AR400 studio ring flash features a daylight-balanced LED modelling lamp with three brightness levels. This makes previewing your light and shadow patterns considerably easier.

Foldable Camera Bracket 

The AR400 LED macro ring flash comes with a folding camera-mounting bracket, enabling you to mount your camera directly onto it for beautifully soft on-axis lighting, giving you that signature ring-flash look. 

Compatible With 

The Godox AR400 ring flash is compatible with the Godox XTR-16 2.4GHz wireless receiver (sold separately). This enables it to be triggered and controlled by any of the Godox X-Series 2.4GHz flash triggers in the range, including the XProII and the X3. 

Two Optical Slave Modes

Featuring two slave modes (S1/S2) the AR400 portable ring flash can also be triggered optically using another flash. S1 mode is best used when being triggered using a standard manual flash. S2 mode is best used with any flash that has a pre-flash (usually TTL flashes) as S2 mode will ignore the pre-flash and fire on the main flash. While not as reliable as using a trigger or a sync cable, it is always a great option to have.

Umbrella Mount 

The AR400 Bowens ring flash also comes with an umbrella bracket, enabling it to be off-camera for soft, off-axis lighting when used with a flash trigger or sync cable.
