The Godox GR45 30° G-Mount Reflector Light Photography is designed for use with the Godox MG1200Bi and MG2400Bi LED Light. Thanks to its narrower beam angle of 45°, it throws light over longer distances, ideal for illuminating a small area of a large set. Unlike using a Standard Spill-Kill reflector with a 45° honeycomb grid (which absorbs some of the light), this reflector focuses the light, increasing its effective light output and reach. The Knowled GR45 is great for large film, television, and theatrical productions.

45° Beam Angle

If you have ever needed a tight beam of light previously, you would generally use a standard reflector in conjunction with a honeycomb grid. The disadvantage of using a grid is that you lose a bit of light, compared to using the reflector by itself. The Godox GR45 G-Mount Reflector naturally produces a 45° beam of light, which negates the need for a grid, so you dont have to worry about losing any light output.

G-Mount fitting

The GR45 45° reflector light photography uses the new Godox G-Mount, which provides a larger and more durable connection compared to the standard Bowens S-Type mount. It also features electronic contacts, which let the light know what modifier is being connected to it. This enables the light to intelligently compensate for any slight colour shifts caused by the modifier, resulting in consistent lighting no matter what modifier is being used.
