True Parabola

The Godox P158 parabolic light reflector features a true parabola, enabling this unique modifier to precisely focus the light from your strobe, enabling you to achieve many different looks with a single modifier. Its special focusing pole ensures that your light is mounted perfectly centres within the parabola of the reflector, ensuring the light is.

Godox Parabolic158 is a true parabolic reflector

How It Works

The light from your strobe first travels to the back of the Godox P158 parabolic light reflector, where the light is reflected outwards to your subject. The position of your light in the modifier will determine how the light is reflected, thus enabling you to produce different light qualities from a single modifier.

Inner Position: When the light is in its most inward position, the light rays are bounced around the reflector, to form a narrow, focused beam, with a high amount of contrast.

Most Focused Position: At its most focused, the light reflected out of the Godox P158 reflector collimates, to produce parallel light beams. This gives you the most output efficiency, whilst maintaining creamy smooth light fall off.

Outer Position: When the light source is positioned further out of the modifier, the reflected light rays become more diffused, and spread over a wider area. This produces soft, glowing lighting with less contrast.

24-Facet Design

The Godox P158 bowens parabolic reflector feature a 24-facet design, making this modifier extremely close to a perfectly circular light source. Each of the 24-Facets features a highly reflective interior

Easy to Set-Up

The Godox P158 parabolic reflector features a unique easy-open mechanism. Simply insert the two opening leavers into the mechanism, and squeeze them together, for a smooth opening experience. Once the P158 light focusing system is open, simply attach the PF-M Mounting bracket to the reflector and insert the central pole into the PF-M Bracket.

Mounts to any Stand

The Godox P158 parabolic reflector can be mounted to any heavy-duty light stand, with either a standards 5/8-inch Baby Pin connection or a 1-1/8-inch Junior Pin Receiver. Simply place the PF-M bracket over the spigot of your stand and tighten the winged screw to secure it onto the stand. If mounting to a large stand with a Junior-Pin Receiver, simply remove the winged screw from the PF-M Bracket and insert the bottom of the PF-M bracket into the Junior-pin receiver of your stand and use the tightening screw on your stand to secure it.

Compatible with a Range Flash

The P158 parabolic reflector adapter rings are available in various fittings, such as Bowens S-Type Fitting, Godox Fitting, Broncolor Fitting and Profoto Fitting. There is also a bracket enabling the Parabolic Reflector to be used in conjunction with Godox Ring Flashes. One bracket for the RIKO400 ring flash, and one for use with the CITI1200Pro ring flash (both sold separately).

Available in Bowens, Profoto and Broncolor Fittings

Secure Mounting

The main Rod features an anti-rotation mechanism, preventing the flash head from rotating whilst mounted to the central rod. The Godox P158 light focusing system also comes with a steel safety cable, which can be secured around your flash head. This prevents your flash from falling to the ground, should any other part of the mounting system fail.
