The PiXAPRO 216-370cm Heavy-Duty Junior Boom Crane Arm combines four-way geared controls with a robust steel and aluminium construction, providing the strength and precision needed for professional film, television and photography lighting. Finished in matte black to reduce reflections, it can position light fixtures weighing up to 10kg at full extension. The boom features a 1-1/8" (28mm) Junior pin for mounting to heavy-duty Junior or Combo stands, plus a Junior receiver and 5/8" (16mm) Baby pin stud for mounting a wide range of light fixtures. Four independently controlled geared axes provide precise control over pan, tilt, rotation and extension, making it ideal for cinematographers, gaffers and DPs working with larger light fixtures and modifiers.

Four-Way Geared Design

The PiXAPRO 216-370cm Heavy-Duty Junior Boom Arm features geared controls, allowing you to precisely position your light using a series of geared crank controls, allowing you to tilt, rotate and extend the boom, even in difficult-to-reach areas. Each axis is controlled independently using a series of geared cranks.  The enclosed gears help prevent dust and debris build-up and reduce the risk of cables becoming caught in the mechanism. This also allows the boom to be folded down neatly when not in use.

Robust Metal Construction

Made from a combination of steel and aluminium, the PiXAPRO Heavy-Duty Junior Boom Arm can support loads of up to 10kg, making it ideal for larger light fixtures, COB lights, LED fixtures and substantial modifiers used in professional film, television and studio productions.

2-Tier Telescopic Design

The two-section telescopic boom arm extends from 216cm to 370cm, giving you the reach needed to position lights over large subjects and surfaces, including vehicles, sets and tables, while maintaining precise control over the fixture's position.

1-1/8" Junior-Pin Stand Mount

The boom features a 1-1/8" (28mm) Junior-pin connector, making it suitable for use with heavy-duty Junior or Combo stands and providing a secure mounting solution for larger lighting setups.

NOTE: Not suitable for use with C-stands or standard light stands.

Junior and Baby-Pin Light Fixture Connector

The PiXAPRO 216-370cm Heavy-Duty Junior Boom Arm features both a 1-1/8" (28mm) Junior receiver and 5/8" (16mm) Baby pin stud, allowing you to mount a variety of light fixtures, from standard LED light panels and cob lights to larger cinema lighting fixtures.

Counterbalance Sandbags

The PiXAPRO 216-370cm Heavy-Duty Junior Boom Arm includes hard-wearing sandbags to counterbalance the weight mounted at the end of the boom. This helps to improve stability and reduce the risk of the stand tipping forwards, potentially injuring someone or damaging your equipment.

Cable Clips

The supplied cable clips help keep any power cables neatly organised and safely out of the way during use. It also provides you with convenient storage for Allen keys, keeping them handy at all times.

Safety Pin

A built-in safety cable with a linchpin provides additional security when mounting Junior light fixtures. This prevents Junior-mounted fixtures from accidentally becoming detached from the boom during use.
