5/8" Stud to 1/4"-20 Thread adapter with Female Spigot Bundle

This 5/8 Stud to 1/4-20 Thread Adapter with Female Spigot Bundle has been put together as a solution for photographers and videographers who want to use certain entry-level lights with their heavy-duty C-stand, or other stands with a baby-pin connection. The Stand mount on some less-expensive studio lights doesnt sit securely on heavier duty stands such as C-stands, as the stand mount on them isnt quite long enough to accommodate the longer baby-pin connector which is typically used on C-stands and other heavy-duty stands. This bundle consists of a 5/8 to 1/4-20 thread adapter, and a 5/8 female spigot, which when put together will enable you to mount any light that wouldnt normally sit securely on a c-stand with no problems

How It Works

Simply remove the nut from the adapter and screw the female spigot to the thread adapter. Then mount your adapter to the baby-pin connector of your stand, then connect your light to the spigot on the spigot in the same way you would mount it to a regular light stand.
