AXDCBLK Aero XDC

The Tether Tools Aero XDC (eXternal Drive Compartment) and XDC Duo are designed for photographers who need instant access to external hard drives without compromising space on their tethering platform. Mounting directly underneath the Tether Table Aero, these compartments provide a secure, ventilated, and discreet home for one or two hard drives, keeping your workspace clear and your files safe during live capture sessions.

A Smarter Way to Store

Whether you're working with large RAW files or maintaining a real-time backup system, external hard drives are essential in any tethered workflow. The Aero XDC makes room for your drive under the table’s surface, keeping your platform clutter-free while ensuring your data is within arm’s reach. The tunnel-like sleeve not only simplifies cable routing but also helps with passive cooling.

Built for Integration

Made from lightweight T6 Aerospace aluminium with a non-reflective black finish, the XDC blends in perfectly with the rest of the Aero System. Its sleek, low-profile build doesn’t interfere with your setup, and it can be mounted on either side of any Tether Table Master, Standard or Traveler. For Aero Tether Tables built for MacBook Pro or iMac, the XDC can be mounted on the left side only.

Durable, Functional, and Flexible

The Aero XDC is made to house most popular portable external hard drives, including models like the G-Tech Mini. If you're running dual drives for redundancy or multiple backups, the Aero XDC Duo doubles the space while keeping the same slim profile and compatibility. Both versions are easy to install, offering a seamless fit into your tethering workflow.

The Tether Tools Aero XDC and XDC Duo are ideal for tethered photographers, videographers, and creatives who need a clean and reliable solution for managing external drives. Whether you're running a lightweight on-location setup or a full studio rig, the XDC helps you stay organised, protect your data, and streamline your workflow.
