Component breakdown
Ball and locking system
A large main knob controls the ball movement, allowing quick repositioning or firm locking once your framing is set. The drag adjustment lets you control how freely the ball moves, which is especially useful when balancing heavier cameras.
Pan base
A dedicated knob controls 360° panning independently from the ball. This makes it easier to create smooth panoramic sequences or controlled horizontal movements without affecting tilt.
Quick release system
The included plate attaches to your camera via a standard 1/4"-20 screw. It slots into the receiver and locks securely with a side knob, keeping setup simple and reliable.
Levelling and alignment
Two bubble levels—one on the head and one on the top mount—help ensure your horizon is straight. The panoramic scale at the base allows consistent incremental adjustments when shooting stitched images.
Portrait notch
A cut-out in the ball housing enables quick switching to vertical orientation without needing an L-bracket.
