The YC Onion Pineta Monopod Dolly MQD30 is a compact rolling base designed to turn your monopod into a fast, mobile support system. Built from aluminium with rubberised contact points, it provides a stable platform while allowing smooth movement between positions—ideal for controlled indoor shooting where flexibility and speed matter.
A one-step deployment system lets you set up quickly: press to release, extend, and it locks automatically into place. Paired with a compatible monopod such as the Pineta Pro, it enables rapid camera repositioning without dismantling your setup.
Three 3-inch silent swivel casters provide smooth 360° movement with reduced vibration and minimal noise, making it well suited to interviews, live streaming, and other sound-sensitive environments.

How it works
The dolly forms a three-point rolling base that attaches to a monopod via a standard 3/8" mount. Once deployed, the legs lock into position to create a stable platform. The wide stance (33cm from each caster to centre) improves balance while allowing fluid movement across flat surfaces.
Each caster rotates freely for full directional control and is designed to reduce noise and vibration—helpful when recording audio. Built-in threaded mounting points (1/4" and 3/8") allow you to attach accessories such as lights or power solutions directly to the base, keeping your setup compact and self-contained.
Why choose this product
Compared with traditional dollies, this monopod base is faster to deploy and easier to reposition in tight spaces. It offers a practical balance between stability and mobility, without the bulk of larger track or tripod dolly systems. The high payload capacity also supports heavier camera rigs with confidence.
Ideal uses
- Live streaming setups with frequent framing adjustments
